If I Could Teach The World

Beauty lies not in the greatness of appearance
Nor in the feelings of the moment
It goes far deeper than emotions
It reaches as simple as a choice

Choice when made becomes a life
Like the ever dawning of daybreak
Making an impression everlasting
Always sure to come tomorrow

The world is far a bigger place
Where losing sight is full of ease
Never knowing what to search for
Always aimless where you wander

If any one of us must know
Life is not at all completely hit
There are misses and turns gone haywire
Jolts and strikes some uncalled for

Dig deep inside and find
The plea of something that is real
You need not have to go too far
The jolts and misses mere tests of faith

The end will see it more rewarding
To walk the line of knowing
Life goes by happily blessed
When choice made, choice forgiving
